A huge Great Horned Owl with a penetrating stare perched on a post. One cannot help but be drawn to the owl’s striking yellow eyes with their mesmerizing gaze. The bird’s natural texture and markings are emphasized by it’s intricately detailed feathers. Here is the majesty and subtlety of an impressive and powerful bird. Here is a confrontation and challenge from it’s sharp focused eyes. Here is a direct stare which is both stunning and slightly unsettling.
