Decaying hulk of a giant Saguaro cactus… surrendered to the ravages of time. A portrait of natural erosion… yet an inspiration for eventual renewal from the younger Saguaro on the right. The cactus skeleton began life as a sprout probably over 150 years ago… while the newer Saguaro is just a youngster at around 100 years old. (Tucson Arizona USA)
