Agreed… even with a humidity of only 5%… it is still hot no matter how you look at it. But we survive… and some of us crazy people even like it!

It was 36 Celsius here yesterday, and that was unbearable (we don’t have air conditioning), I used to work over a kitchen with a 6 burner stove/oven/gas grill ect… in no conditioning. I think it’s made me hate the heat even more! We’d take shifts of working 15 mins. then go sit in the cooler for 10 other wise you’d flake out!

The predicted high for today (Tuesday) is only 107… so at least we are heading in the right direction.

We got to a bit over 80…so at least it’s cooling!! Thank heavens! Is it like that all summer?

It is not unusual for us to have 60-70 days of 100 degree plus days during the summer. We get used to it… and endure it in order to enjoy the beautiful warm winters… while the rest of the nation is freezing. There are some things you do and don’t do in the extreme heat… just like there are things you do and don’t do in areas where it’s extreme cold. It’s just a way of life I guess.
