      Thank you. This was taken a few weeks ago at Balboa Park in San Diego in their Japanese Friendship Garden. There were hundreds of cherry trees starting to bloom… but I was drawn to this one because it looked like the blossoms and new growth had literally “broken out” from the tree trunk. I’m glad you enjoyed the photograph.
