Here are shades of deep blue… turquoise… and hints of purple and red in a mixed media collage that blends and overlaps color (an Artist’s Trading Card) with a roughly torn piece of off-white fibrous and deckled paper. This dynamic structure is all mounted on a background of southwest painted stucco. The intention is to display contrast and interplay between the elements of neutral tones in the rough textures of the background and ripped paper… with the vivid colors of the abstract artist’s trading card.
