My nickname was FiFi when I was growing up … I had no idea there was a flying fortress named after me 😉

I haven’t been able to find out where the name Fifi came from… but now she flies all over the country for air shows and flight crew reunions. Your name has done well…

Ahhh… you have a keen eye. The B-29 was just coming in from a short flight and the B-17 was waiting to take off with a few “passengers”. I posted a shot of the B-17 here: https://galen911.net/2016/02/28/gonna-take-a-sentimental-journey/… The guy in the nose gunner’s compartment could hardly contain himself!!!
