      For the black background I usually use a sheet of black illustration board. I also have a good sized piece of black fleece fabric that I use for subjects where I need both vertical and horizontal surfaces (https://galen911.net/2012/08/06/its-your-move/; https://galen911.net/2016/07/22/the-little-red-truck-with-the-cherry-on-top/). Sometimes it takes a lot of practice shots and playing with exposure… but the results are kinda fun. Thanks for asking…
