Unsung Heroes

A utility repair crew travels east on Interstate 40 just outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Saturday morning, October 27.  This was just one of thousands of repair and clean-up crews responding from across the U. S. in anticipation of the damage that would be caused by super-storm Sandy.

It is just a truck traveling along a highway… but it is powerfully symbolic of the pulling together of our national resources in time of emergency… and the unsung heroes that will be instrumental in getting us back on our feet again.
