Sweet Dreamer???
Do babies dream?
When the little snoozer falls asleep… what visions dance in their head?
According to researchers… babies spend about 50% of their sleep time in active/REM sleep… the stage characterized by vivid dreams. This compares to onely 25% for adults. So it is possible that infants have more… or longer… night-time adventures than their parents do.
What are they dreaming? We do not know… but since they do not have language… their dreams probably consist only of silent images.
But whatever it is… dream on… little one… dream on!
